Peter L Kraus

Abstract

Survival in Auschwitz details one man’s experience in the concentration camp at Auschwitz from the winter of 1944 to January 1945 when Auschwitz was liberated by the Soviet Army. The goal of this essay is to demonstrate how a work of literature can be interpreted through definitions in the Oxford English Dictionary (OED).
